The Stone Medic Shower Regrout and Cleaning process mixes Laticrete 1776 Admix Plus with our high quality, fortified grout in place of water. Laticrete 1776 with Microban additive significantly improves the performance of grout by inhibiting stain causing bacteria, mold and mildew.

Shower Wall and Tile Repair

A repair in a shower may consist of removing a section of tile and the old wall board beneath it due to rot. After we remove the old tile and wall board we clean the beams off and install new concrete backer-board often referred to as Wonderboard. Our Shower Cleaning and Regrout technicians re-tile the section leaving you with a new looking shower ready for years of service. Unlike sheetrock Wonderboard will NEVER rot and will not be harmed by exposure to moisture.

Non-Slip Tile Treatment

Creates an invisible grip on the tile surfaces through micro etching. The surface does not look rough to the human eye, but with a high powered microscope it looks like the Himalayan Mountains with millions of peaks and valleys. When a foot makes contact with the wet tile, water is evacuated forming a suction that greatly reduces slipping. Non Slip Products minimizes the danger of slip injuries in bathtubs, shower stalls, floors, entry areas, and pool decks by dramatically increasing the slip resistance on wet surfaces.

Caulking

Caulking around tubs, showers and countertops keep water from seeping behind walls and into floors. We use high quality, mold resistant caulk.

Sealing

Apply an Industrial Sealer to the grout lines to help prevent soap and other materials from penetrating into the grout causing the grout to turn gray.
